Wake the Church helps churches understand the need to be honest with the Truth. Too many times, we (the Church), just go through the motions with our walk with Christ. We need something to wake us up and help us realize there are consequences when we do nothing with the Truth.
Wake the Church challenged us to be honest:
• with how we see God's blessings in our lives and others' lives
• with the kind of relationship Christ wants with us
with how we see the Truth and apply it to our lives
onetimeblind did a great job with our church. We wanted to teach our people honesty in a way they'd remember and apply it to their lives. OTB used their gifts to make that happen.

Jesus painted word pictures. Jeremiah wore a yoke; Isaiah ate a scroll. Ezekiel saw dry bones become alive. Just as the people in the Old Testament and in Jesus' day needed visual aids to get the idea across, it helps today, too - especially in our "entertain me" society.
Our planning committee believes the way to reach the kids attending our event each January is to follow the Biblical example of providing a visual story. We are thankful that we have been able to do this the past two years by enlisting the aid of onetimeblind.
Visual learning seems to stay with a person longer than just hearing words. Words are often easily dismissed and thought of as not pertaining to me. But it's harder for us to tune out what we are seeing. Our defense mechanisms crumble in the face of reality. As adults, we feel blessed and challenged by OTB, too. Their carefully prepared and thought-out messages portray the truths we want our kids to learn, and they serve as good reminders and sometimes as wake-up calls to us as leaders, too. We are thankful that we can provide such experiences for our kids and ourselves.

We admire the way onetimeblind uses their creativity and unbelievable talents to minister to people. But even more importantly, we get to see that off stage they are real people. We are extremely impressed by their priorities of serving God with their lives and ministering to others. We are proud to call the people of onetimeblind our friends.

"I have accidentally interrupted onetimeblind several times as we both prepare backstage. You might think that I most often find them rehearsing lines, or goofing around, or preparing some props but those things don't seem to be their main concern. Many times I have found them praying or studying God's Word as they prepare to minister to students. Perhaps that is why their dramas cut so deeply into the hearts of everyone present; the Holy Spirit is moving because of their submission to His leading. What else can I say?"

"The sitcom M*A*S*H was the only show on T.V. that could bring out the two most powerful emotions in my body during a thirty minute episode: happiness and sadness. onetimeblind does the same to me every time I've ever watched them. Happy for the joy in Jesus and sad for those who are missing Him.
