7/12/08 - God is amazing
We have had an outstanding summer so far. God has been moving and showing Himself in SO many ways. Check out our road journal for some personal stories! God is good!
7/12/08 - New books!
We are going to be working on new books and video's these next few weeks. We hope to have a video about how to start a drama group and one about the way we do drama. We also hope to have a book of amazing personal stories of things God has done for us. So keep checking our store to see these new items.
6/25/08 - 2008-where have you gone?
It's been a crazy first half of the year and I can't believe it is already July! We enjoyed our "maternity leave" as we didn't travel for a few months while the macs had baby Elijah. If you haven't seen him, check out our pics page, he's a cutie! That's what January and February brought. March and April we started traveling again and since then we have run into SO many things against us on the road. From missing flights to bomb threats we have had a rough beginning. But God continues to work and we continue to press on. We have all moved into new places in Michigan and are awaiting God's voice in the next chapter of this crazy life we lead. Check out our schedule, we would love to see you on the road this summer. God bless.
Here you'll find digital "journal entries" from OTB members as they travel and perform. If you want to get to know OTB, this is one of the best ways to do it...read on...

So many amazing things are happening to us on the road. God has been faithful. Myrtle Beach was super awesome. We met lots of people and were SO blessed. From the worship with Todd Fields, to watching Sarah and JP, learning from Tim, hanging with Larry & the gang, to making friends on the balcony, we had a blast. morning worship

There was a song that I listened to yesterday that said, "you may be home, but your heart is still on that plane to freedom.". That's a bit how I am feeling when I sit and think about last week. It was a great blessing to me personally. Sometimes it just feels good to feel loved.

Talk about God moving in crazy ways! This week in Wildwood God was everywhere showing His face. We taught a class on God's daily presence in our lives and after that, amazing things started happening. Here is one story.

Laura and Ryan were walking the board walk and Laura really wanted some peanut butter fudge. All of a sudden this girl walked up and told Laura how much she appreciated what we do and then handed her a bag of peanut butter fudge cups! THEN--later that week the girl announced from stage that she was so embarrassed because she realized she had given Laura a bag full of already eaten candy and old wrappers. Laura called her up on stage and had her look into the bag. The only thing besides wrappers were 4 pieces of perfectly good cups. God had taken all of the already eaten candy out! Being a Christian is so very fun.fudge story

Ok, so this is kat and I must admit it is my dropping of the ball for the website not being updated with interesting things for you guys to read. Frankly, life has been busy and consuming lately. I am sitting in a coffee shop here at home, the time is about 1am and I'm trying to catch up. (being awake at 1am, does that make me an artist? or just crazy?) We have been traveling every weekend and just left a week trip to VA with Lift 08. It was a great week and we met new friends and as usual, God did amazing things. It's always cool to see God work. I am going to try to start posting the amazing God stories that we encounter. Here is my latest. As we arrived in VA we found out that the director Dan Brown was not there. A dear friend and youth minister of his found out that his son had just been diagnosed with a brain tumor. The little boy was about a year and a half and the parents, family, and friends of this family were so scared to hear about it. I told Dan the next day that my nephew Levi went through that same thing and today he is an awesome kid jumping around and enjoying life. I shared that with the group, but it was amazing that we could arrive on the very day they got that bad news. It was awesome to see that God had a plan as all of these people were strangers to me. God truly is amazing. More stories to come...you WILL hear from me soon!

I know this is a late entry, but I couldn't help but write a bit about an awesome guy with an awesome ministry. While we were in MO in May we had the privilege of working with Kevin Hines. He is an amazing person with an awesome story to share. He is probably one of the funniest people you will ever meet and he is now our forever friend. We can't wait to visit him in Cali. But you should check him out on facebook and check his speech. It's worth the trip.
